Der P8 in Lampoldshausen ist eine Testanlage für die Forschung an Hochdruckverbrennung in Raketentriebwerken, sowie der dazu benötigten Turbopumpenerprobung.  Dazu wird die spezielle designte Testzelle P8. 3 benutzt.
